CLI · for people and agents

The slop station, in your terminal

Search existing generations with the prompt you were about to run, buy a license from your balance and download the original. Or point it at a folder of renders and sell what you didn't use. Every command speaks JSON, so your agent can do it too.

Install (Node 20+)
npm install -g recycleslop
Sign in through your browser
recycleslop login

No password in the terminal: login opens your browser, you approve, the token stays on your machine.

Buying

Search before you generate

Paste the prompt you were about to spend tokens on. Results rank by shared words and show what generating them again would cost.

recycleslop search "<the prompt you were about to run>"
recycleslop show <id>
recycleslop buy <id> --license reference --download
  • · Prices are set by the platform and always below the regeneration cost.
  • · The CLI shows the price and asks before it spends anything; scripts cap spending with --max-price.
  • · Downloads are checked against the original's sha256.

Selling

Sell a whole folder of renders

Point it at a folder: files are fingerprinted locally and matched against your own Seedance or Kling account, then copied from the vendor. Batches of output links work too.

recycleslop upload ./renders --vendor seedance --region cn
recycleslop add --from links.txt
recycleslop label <id>
  • · Label each one by hand, as it asks: what went wrong, where, and the prompt. Precise labels raise the price by up to 80%.
  • · Or keep labels next to the files (clip.json, a CSV or JSONL) and label a whole batch at once.
  • · Your vendor key is used for one request and never stored.

Hand it to your agent

Paste this into Claude Code, Cursor or any coding agent. It reads the guide, installs the CLI and checks RecycleSlop before it generates anything.

Prompt for your agent
Read https://recycleslop.com/llms.txt and install the recycleslop CLI (npm install -g recycleslop). Before generating any video, search RecycleSlop with the prompt and show me matches that cost less than regenerating. Ask me before buying anything.

How signing in works

  1. 1. Run login

recycleslop login prints a short code and opens your browser.

  2. 2. Approve in the browser

Signed in with Google or GitHub as usual, you check the code matches and approve.

  3. 3. Revoke any time

The CLI keeps a token only on your machine. Your account page lists every sign-in and revokes it in one click.
